Ben Sulayem in Qatar to Boost Collaboration in Motorsport

Invited by Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, Mr. Abdulrahman al-Mannai, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, ATCUAE and EMSF President, headed to Qatar aiming to boost collaboration in the development of motorsport sector in both countries.    “We had lately enjoyed the excitement and challenges of Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge in its 26th edition, the opening round of the 2016 FIM Cross Country Rallies World Championship and the second round of the 2016 FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup, and today we are present at the closing ceremony of the next rounds of both championships. Hosting two rounds of these international events in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar respectively reflects the capabilities and wide expertise of GCC countries in organizing such world-class motorsport events. I would like to thank Mr. Adulrahman Al-Mannai for inviting us and for welcoming the collaboration and development initiatives in this field” said Ben Sulayem while attending the closing ceremony of Sealine Cross Country Rally.  “Cross Country Rallies attract large numbers of those concerned in motorsports including participating teams, media, sponsors, supporters and the public, therefore, we need to exert all efforts to invest and collaborate in developing motorsport in order to enhance the prestigious position of GCC countries in terms of attracting and organizing such world-wide events and also to benefit from the opportunity of having everyone present in the region at the same time attending the successive rounds of the cross country rallies” added Ben Sulayem  Mr. Abdulrahman Al Mannai has recently visited the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge bivouac and attended its closing and prize giving ceremonies.
