Amna Al Qubaisi and Saeed Al Ali nominated to represent UAE in the GCC Young Driver Academy

(ATCUAE) has nominated Amna Al Qubaisi (17) and Saeed Al Ali (18) to take part
in the inaugural GCC Young Drivers Academy which will run from April 29 to 30 in
Bahrain and May 1-2 in the UAE, where the program is supported by Arabian
Automobiles, the flagship company of AW Rostamani Group, the exclusive
distributor for Nissan in Dubai and Northern Emirates.

The Academy falls under Sport Grant Program of the Federation Internationale De L’Automobile (FIA) and jointly managed by its appointed global training providers: Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF), Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and the Automobile & Touring Club of UAE (ATCUAE).
The race training element will be based at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and rally training will take place in UAE’s desert. The intensive training and assessment programme will also cover physical fitness, media skills and safety as well as daily driving.
The GCC region has seen ongoing growth in the popularity of motorsport over the past thirty years and now hosts two Formula 1 Grand Prix, a Moto GP and hundreds of National races. In addition, a new regional rally series title the Gulf Challenge will start after the summer break.
